Nick Offerman hails from Minooka, Illinois. He studied acting and kabuki at the University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana from 1988-1993. After obtaining a BFA in theatre, he co-founded The Defiant Theatre Company in Chicago, where he whetted his talents as a writer and actor. Nick also appeared in Steppenwolf Theater productions of The Crucible, The Goodman, Wisdom Bridge, A Red Orchard, Buried Child and A Clockwork Orange. He also performed at the Goodman Theater, Shakespeare Repertory, Odyssey Theatre, and Pegasus Players where he received a Joseph Jefferson Citation for The Kentucky Cycle. A role in the Sundance movie Going All The Way soon brought Nick to Los Angeles, where he continued to pursue his acting career. Nick has since appeared in many films including Going All the Way, City of Angels, Cursed, Miss Congeniality 2 and episodes of ER, The Profiler and ARLI$$ among many others. Nick continued his stage presence by appearing in several plays at the Evidence Room, where he was a company member. Most recently Nick completed ten episodes of American Body Shop.
